Bocas del Toro's archipelago is one of the Caribbean's great natural treasures — dozens of islands, mangrove channels, coral reefs and turquoise shallows that shelter sea turtles, dolphins and extraordinary marine life. This full-day tour explores it all by kayak and snorkel.
We start in the mangroves — narrow channels where you paddle under the roots of red mangrove trees and encounter herons, kingfishers and sleeping sea turtles. Then we cross to Cayos Zapatilla for a snorkeling session on the reef, followed by lunch on a white sand beach.
Dolphin sightings are common on the open water crossing between islands. If conditions allow, we'll spend time in Dolphin Bay — one of the few places in the Caribbean where spinner dolphins reliably gather in large groups.
